The Governor General Flag was designed by the former Governor General Sir Cuthbert Sebastian. It symbolizes the representation of Crown and highlights the motto for Saint Kitts and Nevis -‘Country Above Self’.

When the Flag is hoisted up, it indicates that His Excellency, the Governor General is at his residence at Government House. On the other hand, when the Flag is lowered it indicates that His Excellency, the Governor General is not at Government House.
