Message From The Governor General
When we attained Independence on 19th September, 1983 and our Constitution came into operation, the Office of Goevernor-General was created. The Governor-General represents Her Majestry The Queen of Saint Christopher (St.Kitts) and Nevis and is the Head of State and Head of the Executive of our Government. The Governor-General holds the highest Office in St.Kitts and Nevis and is addressed as His Excellency or Your Excellency as may be appropriate.
Government House has a fascinating history and the biographical details of former holders of the office of Administrator, Governor, and Governor-General may be interesting to research.
